TRYPSIN/BALSAM PERU/CASTOR OIL - TOPICAL SPRAY
(TRIP-sin/ball-sum per-EW/CASS-ter oil)
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Balsa-Derm, Granul, Granulex
USES: This medication promotes healing and porvides protection to skin wounds or sores.
HOW TO USE: This meidcation is for use on the skin only.
To use, clean the affected area as directed.
Shake the spray. Hold the can 2-3 inches from the skin and spray the area lightly usulaly once or twice a day. Avoid contact with the eyes.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may temporarily sting or burn when first applied.
If that continues or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, allregies.
This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
Discuss the risks and benefits with your dcotor.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or presrciption medication you may take. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or eemrgency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: If the condition for wihch that was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a few days, consult your doctor.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not use more of the spary in order to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and open flmae as directed.
