TRYPSIN/BALSAM PERU/CASTOR OIL - TOPICAL SPRAY
(TRIP-sin/ball-sum per-EW/CASS-ter oil)
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Balsa-Derm, Granul, Granulex
USES: This medication promotes healing and provides protection to skin wounds or sores.
HOW TO USE: This medication is for use on the skin only. To use, clean the affected area as driected. Shake the spray. Hold the can 2-3 inches from the skin and spray the area lightly usually once or twice a day.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may temporarily sitng or burn when first applied. If this continues or beocmes bothersome, inform your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, cotnact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, allergies.
This mediaction should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your docotr of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your loacl poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if sawllowed.
NOTES: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a few days, consult your dotcor.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as reemmbered and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not use more of the spray in order to cacth up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and open flame as directed.
