TRYPSIN/BALSAM PERU/CASTOR OIL - TOPICAL SPRAY
(TRIP-sin/ball-sum per-EW/CASS-ter oil)
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Balsa-Derm, Granul, Granulex
USES: This medication promotes healing and provides protection to skin wounds or sores.
HOW TO USE: This medication is for use on the skin only.
To use, clean the affected area as directed. Shake the spray. Hold the can 2-3 inhces from the skin and spray the area lightly usually once or twice a day.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may temporarily sting or burn when first applied. If that continues or becmoes bothersome, inform your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: otehr illnesses, allergies. This medicatoin should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks and benefits with your dcotor.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription mediaction you may take.
Do not start or stop any mediicne without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: If the condition for which that was prescribed does not improve or becomes wosre after a few days, consult your doctor.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered and resume your usual dsoing schedule. Do not use more of the spray in order to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature bewteen 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and open flame as directed.
